Who are we?

The Farmville Area Swim Teams are a co-recreational swimming league for ages 5-18 serving Farmville, Virginia and surrounding counties. FAST is a summer recreational league supported by the Southside Virginia Family YMCA, which focuses on developing sportsmanship, swimming proficiency, fitness, and having fun.

What does it cost?

There is a one time initial fee of $20 to register. We also charge an instruction fee of $25 per week for each swimmer ($20 for YMCA members). You can select which weeks you wish to register for. Payment will be accepted at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA at the beginning of each week (or for multiple weeks).

Where do we meet?

Practices will be at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA. Meets will be either at the Hampden-Sydney College pool or at the YMCA (depending on availabilty).

When is the season?

The season begins on June 1st and ends on July 31st with a pool party. Practices will be from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Meets will take place on Thursdays, starting at 5:30pm, and will be either at the Hampden-Sydney College pool or at the YMCA pool, depending on availability.
